Devendra Fadnavis alleged that the Congress and the CJP followed a similar modus operandi.
The CJP has announced a demonstration in Mumbai from October 2, demanding the removal of chief election commissioner Gyanesh Kumar over the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls. “This was done before the Lok Sabha elections when 189 ultra-left organisations came together during the Bharat Jodo Yatra .
In an interview with a media channel, Fadnavis said a political vacuum had emerged and the Congress lacked the strength to fill it. He alleged that organisations without a political “baggage” were being used to fill that space. We broke that narrative during the assembly elections,” Fadnavis said. “Their modus operandi is to take a copy of the Constitution and defame institutions built by the same Constitution,” he said. He further claimed that the Congress and the CJP were seeking to bring “ultra-left communism” into the country and said B R Ambedkar had warned that such an ideology would destroy the Constitution.
They built a narrative which benefited the Congress. Fadnavis alleged that the Congress and the CJP followed a similar modus operandi of using the Constitution while simultaneously attacking institutions established under it.
MUMBAI: Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis has described the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) as the “ Congress Jitao Party”, alleging that the outfit is being used to fill a political vacuum and benefit the Congress.
