Lucknow: Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) sealed SA Apartment in Wazirganj on Tuesday after damage to a pillar caused wall cracks and strong vibrations, forcing the evacuation of all 25 families. The contractor said the affected portion measured about 12 metres by 12 metres. Multiple jacks, each capable of bearing up to 90 tonnes, are being installed. LDA records show that Shahabuddin submitted the building plan on May 25, 2009. It was approved on Aug 12 that year, and the apartment was constructed in 2010.
