Karnataka State Natural DIsaster Monitoring Centre (KSNDMC) has said that the density of tremors was 3.5 on the Richter scale. Another tremor had taken place at the distance of 1.1 km from Dindivar Gram Panchayat on Monday 12.26am with a Richter scale of 3.5. Earlier on Sept 17, tremor was witnessed at Ingaleshwar Gram Panchayat with the record of 3.7 on Richter scale.
“It was recorded near Dindivar village, located at 3.9 kms distance to the North East of the town and at the depth of 10 kms in the earth, around 2.04 am” it added. Vijayapura: Basavana Bagewadi in Vijayapura district witnessed tremors in the wee hours of Wednesday.

“People need not panic as the intensity of tremors was low,” it added. They have urged the government to send some experts and officials to eradicate their fear about the tremors.
