The renovated theatre will host events from Oct 11, nearly two months after chief minister Devendra Fadnavis inaugurated it. Kolhapur : Kolhapur municipal corporation (KMC) has commenced online bookings for events at Sangeet Surya Keshavrao Bhosale Natyagruha.
KMC commissioner Dr Rajendra Bharud had earlier announced that live events would begin from Oct 1, 2026. KMC additional commissioner Ravikant Adsul said, “Arrangements have been made to host programs in three sessions from Oct 11: 9am to 1pm, 3pm to 6 pm and 8pm to 12am. However, the rescheduling comes after delays in installing the transformer and establishing power supply, as well as the additional time required to complete certain technical works that are currently underway. KMC has appealed to interested institutions, organisations, event organisers, and people wishing to host programs at the Sangeetsurya Keshavrao Bhosale Natyagruha to book the venue online via the Kolhapur Municipal Corporation’s official website: https://web.kolhapurcorporation.gov.in. ”
