He made his IPL debut in 2025 and soon created history by becoming the youngest player to score a century in men’s T20 cricket. He smashed a 35-ball century for Rajasthan Royals against Gujarat Titans in IPL 2025 after reaching his half-century in just 17 balls. Sooryavanshi became the youngest player to score a century in men’s List A cricket when he hit 190 off 84 balls for Bihar against Arunachal Pradesh in the 2025-26 Vijay Hazare Trophy. He eventually scored 94 off 29 balls in the tri-series final. After a difficult start, he bounced back on the tour of Zimbabwe and smashed an 18-ball half-century, becoming the youngest player to score a fifty in men’s international cricket. He was also named Player of the Series after scoring 151 runs at a strike rate of 196.10 in India’s 3-0 T20I series win over Zimbabwe.

Sooryavanshi became the fastest player to hit 100 sixes in T20 cricket, reaching the mark in just 514 balls and 29 innings.

Sooryavanshi first made headlines when Rajasthan Royals signed him at the IPL auction in 2024. At 13, he became the youngest player ever bought at an IPL auction. In IPL 2026, he scored 776 runs and hit 72 sixes. He also became the fastest player to reach 1,000 IPL runs, getting there in 440 balls. He crossed 1,000 runs in T20 cricket in 473 balls, another record.

The other athletes include American football quarterback Arch Manning, NBA star Tyrese Maxey, footballers Naomi Girma and Folarin Balogun, tennis player Alexandra Eala and basketball player Olivia Miles.
