Nashik Road Central Prison
Acting on a complaint from jail authorities, Nashik Road police have registered a case under Section 223 of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) for violating orders duly promulgated by a public servant. Pagare has remained in custody since his arrest in Oct 2023 in connection with an MD drug racket, while Khade was released on bail on Aug 15 this year. Jail records showed that both men were housed in the quarantine ward between Oct 17 and Dec 23, 2025.
The videos feature Pagare alongside Srijay alias Gaurav Khade inside the jail’s quarantine ward, according to the complaint. Investigators said the footage was shot during this period using a cellphone by an as-yet unidentified individual.
