A woman recounted her intense journey through Bengaluru’s traffic while trying to catch a train

The woman said she started from Electronic City around 5pm to catch a 7pm train from Krishnarajapuram station, despite knowing that the train was already running two hours late. She said the 19km journey took more than three hours, leaving her and her fellow travellers convinced midway that they would miss the train. The worsening traffic led them to consider turning back, according to her account. “We were like head on head with the train kind of,” she said, recalling how their journey and the train’s progress seemed to be racing against each other.
