Ahmedabad : The Admission Committee for Professional Undergraduate Medical Educational Courses (ACPUGMEC) has announced the second round of online choice filling for admissions to Ayurveda and Homeopathy courses for the 2026-27 academic year. Candidates included in the ACPUGMEC merit list can submit their choices from Oct 5 to Oct 8, until 10am.
The round covers state quota seats in BAMS and BHMS courses as well as 15% SFI-AIQ seats in self-financed institutions. A total of 3,206 seats are vacant under the state quota, comprising 1,049 BAMS seats and 2,157 BHMS seats. The BAMS vacancies include 147 non-allotted seats, 681 non-reported seats, 13 cancelled seats, and 208 newly approved seats. For BHMS, the vacancies comprise 972 non-allotted seats, 942 non-reported seats, four cancelled seats, and 239 newly approved seats. Under the 15% SFI-AIQ category, 561 seats are available, including 127 BAMS and 434 BHMS seats. The BAMS vacancies consist of 88 non-reported seats, two cancelled seats and 37 newly approved seats, while BHMS includes 337 non-allotted seats, 59 non-reported seats, and 38 newly approved seats. Submitted choices will be available for viewing from 12 noon on Oct 8.
ACPUGMEC said seats left vacant after the first round, including unconverted NRI and PwD quota seats, non-reported seats, cancelled seats and newly approved seats, will be available for allotment.
