The emergence of CCTV footage has added a fresh dimension to the case

Hyderabad: Resolving the long pending dependent employment, Telangana deputy CM Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka has asked the officials to resolve 250 to 300 pending deployment cases within 15 days and issue appointment orders to eligible beneficiaries. He also instructed authorities to take a humanitarian approach in deciding over 136 pending dependent name-change cases based on the recommendations of the Singareni Officers’ Committee.

Free cancer screening camps will also be organised in villages across Singareni areas due to concerns over health risks associated with mining activities. Emphasising healthcare, Bhatti directed that Singareni hospitals be upgraded on par with corporate hospitals by improving infrastructure, attracting specialist doctors and introducing advanced facilities such as cardiac care and Cath Labs. He also approved the setting up of an agricultural research station in Bhupalpally, allocation of CSR funds for govt junior colleges, and in-principle clearance for a Singareni thermal power plant at Ramagundam. Officials were directed to modernise all Singareni colonies with improved drainage, sanitation, electrification, drinking water supply and sewage infrastructure, aiming to significantly improve the quality of life of workers and their families.
