KCR, kin to get notices over Erravelli lands
Hyderabad: The revenue officials are set to issue notices to former chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and his family members whose lands adjoin survey number 325 in Erravelli village of Markook mandal in Siddipet district, seeking the submission of revenue records. Chief minister A Revanth Reddy on Tuesday directed officials to immediately issue a notification to identify 45 acres of land located within the limits of Erravelli and Venkatapuram (outskirts) villages.
The CM had previously ordered an inquiry into the lands during a legislative assembly discussion on Sept 16. Officials informed him that while revenue records indicate a total of 388 acres under survey number 325 in Erravalli village, a recent survey identified only 343 acres, revealing a discrepancy of 45 acres. Consequently, the CM instructed officials to issue a notification for a survey in Erravelli and the adjacent Venkatapuram village to account for this 45-acre difference. Officials also noted that since KCR and his family members own land near survey number 325, notices would be issued to them seeking the submission of their land records. The CM directed that responsibility for the construction of the colony be entrusted to the housing department and ordered officials to complete it by June 2.
