Arahant was born in 2021 and has been practising mental mathematics, reading and public speaking under his mother’s guidance.
His mother Komal said the record was another recognition of a talent that the family first noticed when he was only three years old. He could solve such problems with ease,” said Komal, speaking to TOI. Komal, who is a professor, said she personally conducts his practice sessions every day. His mother said he has also developed an interest in public speaking and regularly practises reading and oration. We practise these every day,” Komal said. His mother said they are looking at additional opportunities that can showcase his abilities in mathematics and public speaking.
“Arahant is good at public speaking and mental calculations. We first noticed his mathematical ability when he was three. Arahant’s abilities extend beyond numbers. He was recently felicitated by Union minister Nitin Gadkari for his public speaking skills. “His practice includes reading, public speaking and mental maths. With four records and awards already to his name, the family is now preparing to apply for more recognition for Arahant.
