The destroyed arecanut farm
Chitradurga : More than 400 arecanut saplings were allegedly chopped down by unidentified miscreants at a farm in JJ Colony, under Chowluru gram panchayat limits in Challakere taluk, on Tuesday night. Because the village was observing the Maramma festival, farmer Swamy said he had not visited the farm.
