Varanasi: The BJP has set its sights on a historic victory in all 71 Assembly seats in the Kashi region, with party national president Nitin Nabin directing leaders to strengthen the organisation at every level and intensify voter outreach ahead of the upcoming Assembly and Graduate and Teachers’ Legislative Council elections.
Referring to the upcoming Graduate and Teachers’ Legislative Council elections in the state, Nabin set a target of winning all 11 seats. He appealed to public representatives, office-bearers and workers to begin preparations immediately, saying that with less than 15 days left for the elections, greater direct contact and dialogue with voters would benefit the party. BJP state president Pankaj Chaudhary said victory in the Graduate and Teachers’ MLC elections was essential ahead of the 2027 Assembly elections.
He said Kashi is the parliamentary constituency of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and therefore remains the focus of the country and the world. Nabin also urged party leaders to complete all announced programmes at the district, Assembly and mandal levels with dedication, reminding them that only three months remain before the upcoming Assembly elections.
Addressing party workers and leaders during the marathon meetings, Nabin said those present were experienced and senior leaders who understood how to strengthen the organisation at the grassroots level. District, regional and state-level office-bearers, public representatives and senior former functionaries participated in the meetings. The resolve was reiterated during seven key organisational meetings of the Bharatiya Janata Party held on Wednesday and Thursday during party’s national president Nitin Nabin’s visit to Kashi.
