Chennai: Tamil Nadu Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar on Friday said medical research and technological advancements should benefit people in remote villages who lack access to healthcare.
Speaking at the inauguration of NAMSCON 2026, the 66th annual conference and convocation of the National Academy of Medical Sciences (India), at SRM Institute of Science and Technology in Kattankulathur, he said research and discussions should focus on people who were yet to receive medical facilities.
