Varanasi: Intensifying its organisational preparations for the 2027 elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party ( BJP ) will hold a two-day joint training camp for 266 assembly in-charges and vistaraks from the Kashi and Gorakhpur regions in Varanasi from Oct 14. BJP national general secretary (organisation) B.L. Santhosh, national general secretary and Uttar Pradesh in-charge Vinod Tawde , and state general secretary (organisation) Dharampal Singh will guide the participants.
BJP Kashi region president Ashok Chaurasia said that 266 office-bearers would participate in the camp. These include 142 representatives from 71 assembly constituencies in the Kashi region and 124 from 62 constituencies in the Gorakhpur region.
Six sessions on different organisational and election-related themes will be conducted over the two days, Chaurasia said, adding that the training aims to strengthen booth-to-assembly-level coordination, increase organisational activity and streamline preparations for the upcoming elections.
