Lucknow: Singing performances, dance competition, dandiya and release of a ‘ghazal’ collection marked a cultural programme in the city on Sunday, bringing together participants for an evening of music, literature and festivities.
The programme, titled ‘I’M THE BEST – 3 IN 1’, was organised by the cultural wing of Lucknow Connection Worldwide Foundation (LCWWF) at a hotel in Mahanagar. A major attraction was the semi-final of the fifth season of the singing contest, in which 24 contestants showcased talent. Smita Scot and GC Bahuguna judged the performances. International poet and singer Dr Malvika Hariom attended as chief guest, while Dr Padam Dixit was the distinguished guest. The programme also witnessed the release of ‘Dil Ki Baatein’, a collection of ‘ghazals’ and a book by Vinod Srivastava. A dance competition saw participants showcase their skills before judges Geeta Saxena and Ragini Srivastava.
