CHHATRAPATI SAMBHAJINAGAR: A 50-year-old man allegedly beat his wife to death following a domestic dispute in Maharashtra’s Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar district before walking into a police station and confessing to the killing, an official said on Tuesday. The incident occurred around 5am on Monday at the couple’s residence in Kannad town, where Mukesh Kumbhakarna allegedly assaulted his 44-year-old wife, Rohini, following a heated argument, the official said. Police have registered a case against Kumbhakarna under Section 103(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), which deals with murder.
