There are certain moments in fashion which are truly meant for the limelight, and what Nitanshi Goel has just managed to achieve is one of those moments. The star of ‘Laapataa Ladies’ is marking her entry into the high-fashion world, as she was the showstopper for designer Suneet Varma this year at Lakmé Fashion Week. There was a combination of designer Suneet Varma’s unique couture sense and the freshness of Nitanshi. One thing was clear, though: Nitanshi Goel is definitely on everyone’s fashion radar from now onwards.
The collection honoured Kashi and unveiled his latest collection of the same name as vibrant proof of Indian culture, tradition and creativity. The colours portrayed the city’s vibrant Indian colours, where the designer also picked the same hues like reds, purples, maroons and blacks, mirroring the changing light of the Ganges River and the unique landscape of Kashi (Varanasi). His collection was clearly reflected in the clothing silhouettes, textile materials, embellishment details, handwork, and artistry whilst being true to the tradition of Indian culture.
