Hyderabad: Union minister G Kishan Reddy on Friday launched a sharp attack on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi , accusing him of making irresponsible remarks and rejecting allegations of vote theft.
Because they could not tolerate India’s development, kishan Reddy alleged that certain foreign-based forces were conspiring to weaken Prime Minister Narendra Modi ’s leadership. Addressing the media at the BJP state office in Nampally, Kishan Reddy questioned Congress’s allegations against the Election Commission and electronic voting machines (EVMs), saying the party targeted chief election commissioner Gyanesh Kumar and EVMs whenever it lost elections.
He also accused chief minister A Revanth Reddy of getting Opposition leaders arrested in the state while delivering lengthy speeches in Delhi, alleging a clear difference between his actions at home and his statements in the national capital.
Rejecting allegations of vote theft, he said BJP had won several states even without the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls. He also alleged that Congress leaders were targeting Supreme Court judges when verdicts did not go in their favour.
