Ahmedabad: Over 10,000 self-financed schools across the Ahmedabad zone must submit their fee approval proposals for the 2027-28 academic year by Oct 31, as the fee regulatory committee (FRC) kicks off its official fee determination drive for the upcoming session. In a circular sent to school management, the FRC outlined strict submission timelines, mandatory documentation, and multi-tier verification procedures aimed at streamlining the approval process.
Every submission must be accompanied by an original notarised affidavit on Rs 300 stamp paper along with an original Rs 1,000 processing fee challan. Jurisdictional guidelines require pre-primary and primary school proposals to be submitted to the DPEO office, whereas secondary and higher secondary applications must go directly to the DEO office. Additionally, institutions must provide audited financial statements for the past two fiscal years, six months of bank statements, staff qualification and payroll logs, approved building blueprints, registered lease agreements, and validated U-DISE data.
