Suspecting fraud, the ex-serviceman contacted the cybercrime helpline on Aug 26.

Later, he began receiving calls from individuals claiming to be representatives and account managers of the platform. The callers allegedly directed him to a website, bxbmarkets.com, and persuaded him to invest in gold, silver, oil and natural gas.
