Issued on Sunday, Sep 6, a state-level inspection team from the land records administration conducted a surprise inspection atoffices at Mehsana and Kadi, according to the suspension order of Patel. The suspension order of Pandya issued on Sep 5, Saturday, said an inspection from the Bhavnagar district collector’s office found deficiencies and irregularities in the overall functioning of the offices. Both officials have been suspended under relevant provisions of the Gujarat Civil Services (Discipline and Appeal) Rules, 1971, the suspension orders said.
