Mukesh Patel, honorary consul of Japan in Ahmedabad, recalled the partnership signed in 2016 in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and then Japanese PM, Shinzo Abe . K C Sampat, managing director, iNDEXTb, said, “Gujarat now hosts more than 350 Japanese companies, with further investments emerging in Dholera, Khoraj and Mandal, including in the semiconductor sector.
