Gohil married Dhaaraba Ajaysinh Sarvaiya on Feb 8, 2026, according to available information. On Sep 12, his wife submitted an application to police alleging domestic violence following a marital dispute, prompting an inquiry. Gohil also appeared in court on Oct 9 in connection with the matter. The body was recovered after nearly 24 hours and later sent to Bhavnagar.

The incident came to light when passersby spotted a motorcycle and a mobile phone near the cliff and alerted Rajur police in Ahilyanagar district. Police contacted Gohil’s family, who reportedly informed them about the video they had received. Given the depth of the gorge, police deployed a drone camera to locate the body. As the spot where the body was found falls within the jurisdiction of Tokawade police station in Thane Rural, an accidental death report (ADR) was registered there.

A recovery operation with the assistance of mountaineers was carried out on Friday.

In the video, Gohil said the dispute had caused him severe mental distress and alleged that his family had faced false accusations.

Shitalkumar Naik, assistant police inspector at Tokawade police station, said, “We have registered an ADR in the case. Further action will be taken based on the statements of family members and the findings of the investigation, including an examination of the video recorded by the deceased before his death.”
