In the first session on ‘Examination Security and Integrity’, experts. discussed exam management, institutional responsibility and measures to prevent and detect irregularities. During ‘Examination Structure, Assessment and Technology’ session, experts discussed question paper design, modern assessment methods and the use of secure computer-based testing (CBT). Experts discussed strengthening exam infrastructure and ensuring equal and accessible opportunities for students irrespective of social, economic, regional or linguistic differences during the ‘Examination Infrastructure and Inclusive Access’ session. During ‘Transparency, Stakeholder Participation and Student Well-being’ session, people discussed grievance redressal, stakeholder dialogue and measures to safeguard students’ mental well-being. The seminar concluded with a focus on developing a reliable, equitable and future-oriented exam system.
Ahmedabad: Gujarat Vidyapith organised a state-level seminar on ‘Reforms in Public Examinations’ on Saturday, bringing together educationists and experts to discuss measures to make the exam system more secure, transparent, inclusive and student-centric.
