Gandhinagar : The ministry of external affairs (MEA) has approved the participation of 75 countries as partner countries for the 11th edition of Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit (VGGS), to be held in Gandhinagar from Jan 10 to 12 next year.
In the 10th edition of the VGGS, 34 countries had joined as partners.
This will be the highest ever participation of countries as partner countries in the prestigious business and networking summit, according to top state govt sources.
“The 2027 edition of the VGGS will feature the highest number of partner countries. The MEA has provided approval for 75 countries as partner countries and more are expected to be added in the coming weeks,” an official overseeing preparation of the mega event, said.
Sources said the state govt is designing a system where partner countries can use the VGGS platform to attract investments in their respective countries as well. “The partner countries will also be given opportunities to hold meetings with other countries and industries to promote their own business ecosystems,” said an official. delegations are also expected to visit countries in Europe, Middle East, South East Asia and other places in the coming weeks to promote VGGS While chief minister Bhupendra Patel has concluded a VGGS promotional tour of the US and Canada.
