Initially, these institutions were among seven colleges temporarily excluded from the current cycle due to a lack of immediate clearance from statutory authorities, casting uncertainty over student choices. Ahmedabad: Three govt ayurveda colleges located in Bhavnagar, Kalawad and Junagadh have successfully secured late approval and are now included in the newly independent admission process for Ayush courses.
Following this, National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM) and National Commission for Homeopathy (NCH) cleared the path for the three state-run institutions just as students entered the choice-filling window for the first round, which runs from Sept 19 to 23. Of the 46 ayurveda colleges in the state, approval for six has been cancelled, while 25 colleges have received approval and 12 are awaiting clearance. In homeopathy, two of the 48 colleges have had their approval cancelled, while 11 colleges are still awaiting approval.
