Last week, State Emergency Operations Centre received details of 28 people from Karnataka who were stranded or missing in Nepal and Tibet Autonomous Region. Of them, 23 were from Bengaluru Urban district. Chief minister DK Shivakumar said his govt is in constant touch with the ministry of external affairs and central authorities and had sent officials to get in touch with those affected. “Most people have been traced except for one group,” the CM added.
