BENGALURU: A group of masked men riding three motorcycles allegedly went on a sudden machete-wielding attack on people on the streets of Bengaluru, leaving four persons injured, police said. The group first attacked Kiran N and his friend, who were standing by the roadside near Maramma Circle, without any apparent provocation, according to police. Three have since been discharged from hospital after treatment, while one remains under treatment, police said. Deputy commissioner of police (Southwest) SK Soumyalatha said four suspects had been identified and three special teams had been formed under Subramanyapura police station limits to trace and arrest them. Subsequently, the same group moved near the Arehalli arch, close to a fish stall, and assaulted two persons, Raju and Ravi,” Soumyalatha said.
