B engaluru: The ongoing food safety crackdown has uncovered multiple violations at Hockey Club in Shanthinagar, where officials have found expired beverages, faulty labelling, unhygienic kitchen conditions and pest infestation.

They seized 40 bottles of expired soft drinks and found soda bottles with labels that did not comply with Food Safety and Standards Authority of India ( FSSAI ) requirements. Drugs worth Rs 4 lakh seized In separate raids on Sept 3, FDA officials seized medicines worth over Rs 4 lakh from two unlicensed e-commerce storage facilities linked to Amazon. At Thattanahalli, Anekal, medicines worth Rs 2.5 lakh were seized from an unlicensed Amazon Seller Services Pvt Ltd premises. Another raid at Aerospace Park, Devanahalli, resulted in the seizure of illegally stored drugs worth Rs 1.6 lakh.
