Police said Varun visited Mylapore last month to attend a wedding and parked his car on the roadside. After the event, he found his car door open. A gold chain, diamond jewellery, a laptop, and an expensive wristwatch, together worth several lakhs of rupees, were missing. Varun lodged a complaint with Mylapore police.
