Chennai: Software-as-a-service company Zoho aims to grow its share: The wider industry impact

The emergence of CCTV footage has added a fresh dimension to the case

Chennai: Software-as-a-service company Zoho aims to grow its share of the cloud development market by updating its platform with AI coding assistants. It has added features to integrate with popular AI coding tools like Anthropic’s Claude and Cursor. These AI assistants convert everyday language into software code, becoming one of the most useful applications of generative AI today.

They still struggle when they have to manually connect different parts such as user interface, servers, databases, security and launch processes,” Nergunam said. The platform helps developers take an app straight from their AI coding assistant to a fully functional live environment, according to the company’s release. It is equally available in US and EU data centres for developers who need to follow strict regional compliance laws, the company said.

He noted that Catalyst stands out by offering an all-in-one, unified solution. Developers can also host their work in the company’s India data centres to meet local data privacy rules. The platform also offers a free programme for students.

Today, developers can generate code rapidly, but getting that code live and running smoothly remains a major hurdle.
