CHENNAI: The Tamil Nadu govt on Friday announced that all the schools in the state would reopen on Oct 5 after the quarterly exams. The schools will remain closed from Sept 26 to Oct 4. The exams that began in the third week of September ended on Friday.
The school education department instructed govt and aided primary schools to hold special admissions for Vijayadashami (Oct 20) and log the details district-wise on the EMIS portal. “All students must be given their answer sheets, and their scores should be entered on the state’s EMIS portal,” a release from the department said.
