New Delhi: Along with inaugurating the long-awaited Barapullah Phase-III elevated corridor, Union home minister Amit Shah will lay the foundation stone of two infrastructure projects while throwing open another road facility in the city Tuesday.
The 1.5km structure extending the Modi Mill flyover to Kalkaji will have six lanes, with nine-metre-wide carriageways on either side, along with medians, crash barriers and railings, said an official. 3 of Haiderpur Badli Mor metro station.
Public Works Department minister Parvesh Verma said that while the foundation stones for the extension of the Modi Mill flyover up to Kalkaji and a new parallel flyover at the Savitri Cinema junction will be laid, the Mukarba Chowk underpass will be inaugurated. Two underpasses are for vehicular movement, while the other facility is for pedestrians and non-motorised transport, said a govt official.
