New Delhi: Delhi BJP Wednesday organised the ‘Seva Jyoti Yatra’ to mark 25 years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi ’s public life as part of the party’s nationwide ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’.

The party said the yatra was also aimed at taking the message of service and nation-building to different sections of society. The programme was held at Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium and was attended by BJP national president Nitin Nabin , CM Rekha Gupta and Delhi BJP president Harsh Malhotra, among others. Nabin flagged off the yatra by handing over torches to Delhi MPs. BJP workers from various organisational mandals across the city gathered at the stadium before taking the torch-bearing kalash yatra towards their respective parliamentary constituencies. During the programme, Gupta, along with Malhotra, the party’s prabhari, sah-prabhari and MPs, led BJP workers in taking a pledge to work towards ‘Viksit Bharat @ 2047’ with a commitment to service, good governance and nation-building.
