The incident took place near Karkardooma Community Centre when the two youths were returning home from a cafe, police said. The injured have been identified as Afsar (24), a resident of Muradnagar in Ghaziabad , and Irshad (23), a resident of Old Seelampur. The attackers fired nearly 12 rounds, triggering panic in the area, according to Irshad. Afsar suffered multiple bullet injuries, while Irshad sustained an injury to his posterior. They were later shifted to Guru Tegh Bahadur Hospital.
