NEW DELHI: Heavy to very heavy rain is likely in several parts of the country on Wednesday, with the India Meteorological Department (IMD) warning of extremely heavy rainfall in Chhattisgarh and very heavy rain in parts of east Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and the Northeast.
The IMD has forecast heavy rainfall over Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi on September 2, with the possibility of more widespread rain continuing in the following days.
