With these words, the 17-year-old survivor recounted to police the terrifying moments she endured inside Aastha Kunj Park Monday, when three men allegedly overpowered her, threatened her with knives and raped her after first posing as policemen. TOI had earlier reported that the accused’s nicknames, clothes and physical descriptions provided by the survivor became key clues for police in identifying the trio.
Asif then allegedly sexually assaulted her while holding a knife to her neck, according to the statement. “I was crying and was in severe pain,” she told police. I put on my clothes and then they brought my friend to me as well,” she told police. The accused allegedly returned their phones and threatened to kill them if they did not leave immediately or told anyone about the incident. “I told my friend about the incident of rape committed against me by the three boys. After that, the police officers came to us,” she said.
