Police also booked him in a criminal case and subsequently arrested him. Hyderabad: A home guard attached to the railway police was terminated from service by Cyberabad police commissioner M Ramesh on Saturday after he was found assaulting a woman near Hafeezpet railway station.
The incident came to light after a video showing 36-year-old Kadiga Anand attacking the woman was circulated on social media.
Taking cognisance of the incident, Miyapur police registered a suo motu case and apprehended the accused home guard,” Cyberabad police said. Director general of police CV Anand took note of the video and directed the Cyberabad police authorities to take action against the home guard. Police were in the process of producing the accused before a local magistrate.
