Warangal: A two-year-old boy was crushed to death by a private school bus at Pittakalubodu Thanda in Nekkonda mandal of Warangal district on Wednesday morning.

Nekkonda ASI M Ravi said Rahul was playing outside his residence with his grandfather when he ran onto the road to retrieve a toy. The speeding bus ran over Rahul before the driver could stop it, killing him on the spot, Ravi said. The deceased was identified as B Rahul, a resident of the thanda. His grandfather had briefly gone inside the house. Rahul’s parents, Ramesh and Akhila, were at work when the incident occurred. The toddler’s body was shifted to Narsampet Govt Hospital for postmortem. Police registered a case and are investigating. Download the TOI App.
