Officials of AssetMark at the inauguration of the US-based wealth management platform’s global capability centre in Hyderabad on Tuesday
Hyderabad: US-based wealth management player AssetMark has opened its global capability centre, called AssetMark Global Wealth, in Hyderabad with a capacity to accommodate around 500 people. AssetMark will partner with Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology to hire 10 to 15 graduates in its first campus cohort, with recruitment expected to expand. Founded in 1996, AssetMark caters to over 10,000 advisers.
The company said the facility marks a shift from its nearly decade-long outsourcing model in India to a dedicated in-house operation aimed at supporting growth. Led by Joshi Alaparthi, vice president and head of the India GCC, the Hyderabad team will work with US colleagues on technology and engineering initiatives for AssetMark’s platform, it said. The company said the centre will expand use of artificial intelligence to improve adviser productivity, client service and engineering scale, while keeping human judgement central to decisions. AssetMark chairman and group CEO Lou Maiuri said Hyderabad’s technology and financial services ecosystem made it an ideal expansion location. AssetMark COO Carrie Hansen said bringing operations and technology teams together would accelerate innovation and improve service delivery.
The company is currently hiring talent across technology, operations and product management, spanning senior leaders, experienced professionals and campus graduates.
