Vinay Kishore and his brother Rajesh had come to their grandmother’s residence for Rakhi festival, according to Mulugu circle inspector D Suresh. A case has been registered and we are investigating, said Suresh. When Rajesh went to attend a nature’s call, he accident fell into the lake and began shouting for help. Vinay Kishore, who noticed his brother struggling, immediately jumped into the lake to rescue him. Unfortunately, they both got drowned in the lake. Locals found their bodies and immediately alerted the police, who rushed to the spot. The bodies were retrieved and shifted to the Govt Area Hospital in Mulugu for postmortem. Download the TOI App.
