Advocate general Surajit Nath Mitra said the agency was taking steps to preserve footage. The former minister in the Trinamool govt had moved the HC alleging heckling and an egg attack at a lower court. Kolkata: Calcutta High Court on Monday directed the state to file an affidavit detailing the steps taken by the investigating agency to preserve CCTV footage linked to an FIR involving an egg attack on former minister Aroop Biswas within five weeks. On Monday, Biswas’s counsel told the court that its previous direction was not complied with.
