Kolkata: Emami Agrotech has been granted a shield against coercive action by Calcutta High Court in connection with a notice served by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) over the company’s use of its brand name ‘Emami Healthy & Tasty’. Emami Agrotech challenged the notice before HC, saying that ‘Emami Healthy & Tasty’ is a duly registered trademark and that the notice was not issued in accordance with applicable legal provisions.
