The letter said every university had its specific laws and regulations governing its administration, corresponding to the specific act by which it was formed, on the basis of which recruitments were conducted. “Ignoring these established provisions and compelling teachers to work under an entirely new set of conditions are grossly illegal… and contrary to the principles of natural justice,” stated the letter.
