Suri: BJP booth president Chandan Bhalla was shot dead near Motipukur Rice Mill in Bolpur’s Ward 12 on Sunday evening. He was rushed to Bolpur Sub-Divisional Hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
Bhalla, president of booth 201, was walking home when two masked men on a motorcycle approached him, according to police and local sources.
