Mangaluru: Actor Prakash Raj Monday called for an investigative committee to examine all decisions taken by the Election Commission of India (ECI) since 2023 and their consequences, and demanded that the SIR process be scrapped. Every decision, rule, and procedure undertaken by this Election Commission since 2023, along with their consequences, must be brought before the Supreme Court immediately, and an inquiry must be initiated,” he said. Referring to 1.8 lakh voters being marked under ASDDO (absent, shifted, duplicate, dead, others) in Karnataka , he said a social audit is being conducted across 100 polling booths.
