The downpour led to waterlogging on several key roads, reduced visibility and slowed traffic across the city. Areas around KR Puram Metro station and Tin Factory were among those affected, with rainwater accumulating on the roads and traffic moving at a slow pace. The sudden downpour also reduced visibility, forcing motorists to switch on their headlights while navigating the rain-hit stretches. Bengaluru Traffic Police advised motorists to drive cautiously in view of the waterlogged roads and poor visibility. Several other parts of the city, including Majestic, Anand Rao Circle, TC Palya, Jakkur and Hebbal, also witnessed heavy rain and its impact on traffic. Vehicles were seen moving slowly through waterlogged stretches and congested junctions as commuters struggled to make their way through the afternoon showers. The intense spell of rain brought parts of normal city life to a halt, with low-lying areas particularly vulnerable to water accumulation.
