Dharwad : Hubballi-Dharwad police commissioner Bhushan Borase has urged citizens and public Ganesh festival committees to celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi peacefully, responsibly and in an eco-friendly manner, while minimising noise, water and air pollution.

Addressing a peace committee meeting organised by the police commissionerate at Karnataka Vidyavardhaka Sangha on Tuesday, Borase said the festival should be observed with devotion while maintaining communal harmony and public safety.
