The newly constructed facilities feature child-centric Greenmark architecture, spacious play courtyards, colourful rural-themed wall paintings, separate sleeping areas and hygienic modern kitchens. The centres also incorporate several sustainability measures, including solar lighting, rainwater harvesting systems and vermicomposting system. The manure produced is used in on-site fruit and vegetable gardens, which supplement the children’s daily nutrition. The centre also grows fruits such as rose apples, which are harvested and shared with the children after meals.
